Banjo Stig Nilsson Bytet från mandolin till banjo efter åren i skolan var nödvändigt för att Stig skulle kunna spela sin älsklingsmusik, dixieland. Genom sitt gedigna banjospel skapar Stig utrymme för bandets kraftfulla och ändå lätta dixiesound. Stig var initiativtagare 1982 till det band som nu är Sir Bourbon Dixieland Band. The transition from the mandolin to tenorbanjo after his years in school was necessary for Stig to be able to play his favorite music, Dixieland. His genuine tenorbanjo creates space for the band´s powerful, yet light Dixie sound. In 1982 Stig founded the band that today is called Sir Bourbon Dixieland Band |

Trummor Leif Erlandsson Leif sätter med sitt varierade spel svänget i högsätet. Med snärtiga vispar och drivande stockar hetsar han blåset till att ta ut svängarna lite extra. Med studentorkestermusik i bagaget tycker Leif att det också måste finnas humor i musiken. Även Leif var med och grundade bandet. With his varying style, Leif puts the swing in the driver´s seat. With snappy whirls and energetic sticks, he entices the horns to add more gusto. As he has a background in student orchestras, Leif feels that there must be humor in the music. Leif was also one of the founders of the band. |

Bas Kent Hjort Ett högst levande basspel, oavsett om det är dixieland eller någon av alla de andra musikaliska utmaningarna han ger sig på. När Kent spelar är det inte bara hans flinka fingrar som jobbar utan han spelar med både kropp och själ (body and soul). A very lively bass, regardless if it´s Dixieland or any of the other musical challenges he throws himself at. When Kent plays, it´s not only his agile fingers that are doing the working, as he plays with both body and soul. |

Klarinett, sax och sång Thomas Erlandsson Thomas klarinettspel präglas av energi och glädje (det är det musik skall byggas av!). Fullt av infall. Allt som oftast sjunger han och ibland kan det bli ett unikt visselsolo. Med marscher och klassiskt klarinettspel i bagaget blev det dixieland för hela slanten då han var med och grundade Sir Bourbon 1982. Thomas clarinet is characterized by lots of energy and joy (this is what music should be made of!). He´s full of whim. He is often found singing and sometimes even whistling a unique solo. Having marches and classical clarinet in his bag, he committed himself to Dixieland when he became one of the founders of Sir Bourbon in 1982 |

Trombon Stig Erixon Stig har aldrig missat att lägga till en skön harmoni i sitt spel. De små musikaliska passagerna ger musiken spänst. Med bakgrund i både dixieland (började redan i Tut-i-luren Stompers 1957!) och folkdansorkester så har Stig en bred repertoar. Stig has never missed an opportunity to add a wondrous harmonic to the music. His small musical passages give the music bounce. With a background in both Dixieland (began with Tut-i-luren Stompers 1957!) and folk music orchestras, Stigs repertoire is very broad. |

Trumpet Pelle Wetterlundh Pelle är en mästare på melodiska låtar. Det skall finnas melodi! Med sin runda , fylliga ton tar han leadet och utvecklar fantastiska melodislingor i sina solon. Han är en av de som hörde Louis Armstrong live på konserthuset i Göteborg 1958. Pelle is a master of melodical tunes. There must be melody! With his round, full tone, he takes the lead and develops fantastic melodical passages in his solos. He is one of those who listened to Louis Armstrong live at Konserthuset in Gothenburg 1958 |
